Gain meaningful insight into Deaf Culture and learn how to interact respectfully with those who use American Sign Language (ASL). This engaging session will equip you with the basics, including the ASL alphabet, counting to 10 “on one hand,” and a few essential phrases to help you communicate with confidence.
By the end of this class, you’ll have a foundational understanding of the cultural, linguistic, and educational aspects of the Deaf community—and the tools to connect meaningfully with its members.
