Unleash your creativity and explore the world of poetry in this hands-on workshop where you’ll write your own masterpieces!
Think poems have to rhyme or be super serious? Think again! In this lively workshop, we’ll shatter poetry myths and dive into all kinds of poems—funny, short, long, even song lyrics! You’ll learn about different types of poetry in an engaging and fast-paced session that will keep you entertained from start to finish. Get your creative juices flowing just in time for National Poetry Month in April, and leave with your own poetic creations to share! Designed for 4th-6th graders but open to all ages who want to embrace their inner poet. This workshop is brought to you in partnership with Thurber House.
