Join Teen Talk each month for a chance to build real-world skills and self-confidence!
Looking for that first after-school job but don't know where to start? December's Teen Talk focuses on creating resumes, completing job applications, and learning interview skills. You'll learn how to put activities like school sports, extracurriculars, and volunteering on a resume and get tips for talking about yourself during interviews. Finding your first job can be challenging, and this workshop will provide support and skills to make the process a little easier.
Teen Talk is a monthly program that focuses on developing important real-world skills, navigating the challenges of being a teen, and answering your questions. Each month focuses on a different topic relevant to teens; suggest a future Teen Talk topic by emailing pplrefstaff@pickeringtonlibrary.org. Teen Talk is held on the third Wednesday of the month.
