AtriumHistory will be brought to life through song and story, featuring the tin whistle, the flute and lively songs from local performer Bob Ford.
Step back in time and uncover the rich, complex history of Ohio. Trace the state’s role in America’s early story. Explore the spirit of discovery and ambition that drove settlers and explorers to claim and shape Ohio.
Experience the human side of America’s journey through powerful stories, from the tragedy of the Yellow Creek Massacre and Chief Logan’s moving lament, to the courage of frontier women and the grit of legendary figures like Simon Kenton and George Rogers Clark. Follow the clash of cultures and armies across the Ohio River as battles raged and alliances were tested.
Interwoven with live tin whistle and Native American flute music, including “Yankee Doodle” and other tunes authentic to the time period, this interactive program brings the sounds and stories of early Ohio life to you in a lively and interactive way.
