Join the Teen Advisory Board and have a voice in shaping the library's offerings, ensuring that the library remains engaging and responsive to the needs of its younger customers.

Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a group of teenage volunteers who advise and collaborate with the library staff on programs, services, and resources that are relevant to teens. The primary goal of a Teen Advisory Board is for teens to have a voice in shaping the library's offerings, ensuring that the library remains engaging and responsive to the needs of its younger customers. Members share ideas, help plan teen events, suggest new books or media, and make a difference in the community, all while developing leadership and teamwork skills.

The Teen Advisory Board provides a safe platform for teens to openly identify, discuss, and advocate for youth-related needs in the library and community. TAB is open to teens in grades 9 through 12 as of fall 2024 who live or attend school in the Pickerington/Violet Township area.
