The class will be 1.5 hours of hands-on experience—exploring fresh ingredients and using sensory perception to elevate your cooking.

Vital Essentials is an exciting cooking class led by Culinary Chef Makia Hagans. Chef Makia is ready to take you on an educational culinary adventure! We will be using fragrant herbs and spices, colorful fruits and vegetables, and adding delicious umami with a variety of proteins. Get ready to let Vital Essentials, powered by Umami Soul Catering, tantalize your fifth taste bud!

September 22: Rice Crispy Treats

October 20: Candy Apples

November 17: Turkey Chili

We are looking forward to our fun-filled exciting culinary journey with you!


There are limited spots, so please submit only one registration per family.


Class is open to ages 5 to 12; must be accompanied by an adult

About the branch
