Pickerington Methodist Hospital Trauma Network presents TAI CHI for Balance & Fall Prevention--a weekly 1 hour class
The focus of this Tai Chi class is for balance and fall prevention. A series of slow movements to improve health and mind-body awareness through mindful movement, breathing, strengthening, balance, and stretching postures. Research suggests that practicing tai chi may have a variety of health benefits including improved balance, improved mood/quality of life, improved activity tolerance, enhanced immune system, increased strength, body awareness, and enhanced pain and stress management.
Please note, classes are additive learning several new movements each week.
