Pickerington Main
Meeting Room CLearn the basics of American Sign Language and deaf culture in this ten-week class.
American Sign Language is a language just like any other world language, such as French, Spanish, and English.
These classes feature progressive sign language acquisition and comprehension as well as opportunities to practice signs and interact with other students and with members of the Deaf community. Successful completion of these classes will provide you with a basic conversational knowledge of American Sign Language. Your instructor, Bobby Ringle from ASL with Bobby and Michele, is a fluent signer with strong ties to the Deaf community and Deaf culture.
This is a 10-week class running on Wednesday evenings from June 24 - August 26. Please ensure you can attend most class sessions before registering, as each class builds on the previous ones.
Registration is required and is intended for learners ages 16 and older.
This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
