Homebuyer Workshop
Path to Homeownership
Thursday, July 16
6:00pm - 7:00pm
Pickerington Main
Meeting Room AWhether you are just starting to save or are ready to make an offer, this session provides the clarity and tools needed to transition confidently from renter to homeowner.
This workshop is designed to break down the core pillars of mortgage readiness: credit health and the debt-to-income (DTI) ratio. We will explore how your credit score acts as a key to different interest rates and how managing your monthly obligations against your earnings impacts your total borrowing power.
Beyond the numbers, we will compare various loan products—from conventional financing to government-backed options—to find the right fit for your unique situation. Finally, we’ll uncover the "hidden" resources often overlooked by buyers: down payment assistance programs.
