Suzanne Woods Fisher Virtual Author Visit
The Stories of Our National Parks
Wednesday, June 10
6:00pm - 7:00pm
Pickerington Main
Meeting Room CCome hear Suzanne Woods Fisher, author of Chase the Light (set in Acadia National Park), share the history of our national parks and why they matter more than ever.
A shipwreck, Acadia National Park, and a story rooted in shared land.
As America approaches its 250th anniversary, join author Suzanne Woods Fisher for a conversation about how national parks remind us what we share—not just beautiful places, but a common history. Her latest novel, Chase the Light, set in Acadia National Park, weaves together a historical shipwreck with an Indigenous perspective often missing from these stories.
This talk will be presented virtually via Zoom, and you will have time to interact with the author and ask questions.
Suzanne Woods Fisher is a bestselling author, Christy finalist, Carol and Selah winner, and two-time ECPA Book of the Year finalist, with more than forty books to her name. She writes contemporary, historical, and Amish novels. Suzanne lives in California with her husband, where life (and friends) inspire stories.
