Join David Fierst on a discussion of his book, "Hidden Disgrace—Revealing the Distress Signals Covered by North American Indian Myths".

What sparked author David Fierst’s journey into history? A life-changing visit to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in April 2014. Seeing the realities of life on the reservation, he was compelled to explore the rich and complex history of the Lakota people—and to better understand their present challenges. His research took him deep into historical archives, from the National Archives in Washington, D.C., to the Minnesota Historical Society and the Lilly Library. Now, he’s bringing his discoveries to you.

Join us for an eye-opening discussion as Fierst shares his insights, stories, and the powerful history he uncovered. Don’t miss this chance to gain a deeper understanding of the past and present of the Lakota people.
