Learn how to remove moisture from produce to extend shelf life.
Dehydrating: This program teaches individuals how to preserve fruits and vegetables by removing moisture to extend shelf life. Dehydration allows you to preserve seasonal produce for later consumption. It's one of the oldest and most widespread food preservation techniques. Dehydrated foods can be stored for longer periods without refrigeration, making them ideal for long-term storage and emergency preparedness.
Taught by Shannon Carter from OSU Extension. Registration is required.
