Join Pickerington Public Library at Coyote Run for the Great Backyard Bird Count! Help track local bird species and support global conservation efforts.
Pickerington Public Library is partnering with Coyote Run State Nature Preserve to participate in the annual Great Backyard Bird Count. Join us at Coyote Run to count all the different types of birds that make their home in Pickerington's backyard. Please dress accordingly.
What is the Great Backyard Bird Count? Each February, for four days, the world comes together for the love of birds. Over these four days, people spend time in their favorite places watching and counting as many birds as they can find and reporting them. These observations help scientists better understand global bird populations before one of their annual migrations. Read more: https://www.birdcount.org/about/
