Join Teen Talk each month for a chance to build real-world skills and self-confidence!
Getting your first job is exciting...until it's time to file your taxes. This month's Teen Talk will help make taxes less scary so you can file with ease. You'll learn what terms like "deductions," "returns," and "adjusted gross income" mean and how they affect you. We'll cover resources that help with the tax filing process, and identify trusted experts you can turn to with questions.
Teen Talk is a monthly program that focuses on developing important real-world skills, navigating the challenges of being a teen, and answering your questions. Each month focuses on a different topic relevant to teens; suggest a future Teen Talk topic by emailing pplrefstaff@pickeringtonlibrary.org. Teen Talk is held on the third Wednesday of the month.
