Ancient secrets, daring heroes, and audience-powered fun await in this immersive movie event inspired by one of the most beloved adventure films of the 1990s.
Grab your fellow explorers and prepare for a fun-filled journey into the mysteries of ancient Egypt! The library will be hosting an exciting interactive screening of The Mummy (1999), the action-packed adventure that follows a daring group of explorers on a quest to uncover the lost city of Hamunaptra—only to awaken an ancient evil!
This isn't just a movie—it's an interactive experience! Each participant will receive a bag of supplies to use throughout the film. As the story unfolds, you'll become part of the adventure by following audience prompts, reacting to thrilling moments, and using your props to help bring the action to life. Cheer for the heroes, brave the ancient curses, wave your "torches" while exploring dark tombs, and join fellow adventurers as they race to stop the mummy's terrifying return.
The Mummy is rated PG-13. Parental discretion advised.
