PavilionAn initiative to provide positive, structured, and healthy opportunities for teens. This class emphasizes physical fitness, confidence, self-discipline, stress management, and positive engagement.
Not only is boxing a great workout, but it can teach important life skills like discipline, stress management, and self-confidence! Boxing for Fitness will introduce teens to the fundamentals and benefits in a low-stress, safe, and friendly environment.
This program is part of a Library initiative to provide positive, structured, and healthy opportunities for teens. This class, taught by experts from Title Boxing Pickerington, emphasizes physical fitness, building confidence, self-discipline, stress management, and positive engagement.
Boxing for Fitness is a non-contact fitness program. Participants are expected to follow the instructor's directions and the Pickerington Public Library's Customer Code of Conduct at all times; participants who engage in unsafe behavior will be asked to leave the program and may be subject to additional consequences under the Customer Code of Conduct.
Participants and their guardians must complete registration and permission forms, which must be returned no later than September 28, 2026. Participants who do not have completed documentation on file by the date of the program will not be allowed to participate in the program.
Permission forms can be picked up in person at Pickerington Main Library Information Services Desk or requested electronically by emailing pplrefstaff@pickeringtonlibrry.org. Completed forms can be returned either electronically or in person.
